Katrina Goins 10+ years assorted career path includes working within the credit union field, non-profit, affordable housing, financial inclusion and CDFI economic development. Katrina uses careful yet bold ideas to elevate individuals and businesses to establish capital, create solutions for environmental justice, support financial stability and sustainable finance with the use of innovation, unity, and advocacy. Katrina earned her Bachelor's Degree in Leadership from Regent University, graduating magna cum laude. She also obtained her Executive Education ESG Certificate from Yale University in Environmental, Social and Governance (Sustainable Finance), Community Development Finance Certificate from OFN and the University of New Hampshire’s Carsey School of Public Policy as well as her Strategic Planning Certificate from The Performance Institute. Katrina's community efforts exceed her work objectives as she also serves as a Board of Director for Christian Community Action Agency (a Continuum of Care organization) and sits on the Greater New Haven NAACP Housing Committee. Katrina was born, raised and maintains residency within the State of Connecticut yet possesses a Southern-hospitality spirit along with a family-oriented lifestyle as a wife and mom.
We aim to make a national impact within the community by assisting community development and mission driven organizations with projects or programs that strengthen or enhance individuals considered low-to-moderate income or BIPOC or other underrepresented individuals. We are hopeful to work in unity with financial inclusive strategies that continue to bridge the wealth gap!
Katrina Goins Consulting’s values are derived from morals and a mix of new enhancements including grassroots, environmental, social and governance, relevant concepts for sustainable advancement opportunities for individuals and organizations as well as historical attributes that originate from the Civil Rights movement, financial inclusion strategies and Biblical philosophy.
